IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACTUAL BARGAINING AGREEMENT, THE DIVISION OF PERSONNEL ANNOUNCES TESTING FOR THE RANK OF POLICE LIEUTENANT TERRITORY-WIDE WITHIN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT

This promotional examination sign up is only for current employees of the Virgin Islands Police Department.

Do not proceed to sign up for this exam is you are not an employee of the Virgin Islands Police Department.

SIGN-UP PERIOD OPENS at 8:00AM ON MONDAY, MARCH 09, 2026

SIGN UP ENDS 11:59 PM ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 08, 2026

Qualifications to sign up to take the Police Lieutenant Exam:

THREE (3) YEARS OF ACCUMULATED SERVICE IN THE DEPARTMENT IN A CLASSIFIED POLICE RANK IMMEDIATELY BELOW THAT OF A LIEUTENANT.
